Creating Valuable Memories on a Dime
Planning your visit to the Champlain Valley Fair?
Once you’re past the gate, you could spend an entire day soaking up all types of free entertainment. To see what’s happening while you’re there, pick up a copy of the free Fun Guide near the entrance or download it here. Inside its pages, you’ll find many ways to celebrate our region’s agricultural roots and local talent at no extra cost, including agricultural exhibits, art installations, and traditional favorites like giant pumpkins and the sand sculpture. If you enjoy animals, you can watch horses compete in barrel racing or pulling, see trained rescue dogs dive into a pool of water to catch a frisbee, admire the oxen, or say hello to the friendly animals in the petting zoo.
When you’re ready to rest your feet, take a seat and enjoy cooking, glass blowing, sheep shearing, fiber working, sheep dog herding, pumpkin carving, and other demonstrations, or just relax while listening to Vermont artists perform music on the Adsit Mall.
Whatever your interest, passion, or energy level, the fair provides many opportunities to learn something new and create meaningful memories.
