Bill Pay

Funds are sent either by check or ACH, depending on the merchant’s relationship with Bill Pay. Typically, payments to large merchants are processed via ACH, while smaller merchants receive checks.
If you’re asked for a mailing address when adding a payee, the payment will be sent by check. If you’re prompted for an account number, the payment will be sent electronically.
You’ll need a checking account, a U.S. address, be at least 18 years old, and have a minimum balance of $1 in your account.
You can select the day you would like the payment to be sent. Your account will be debited the day after the sent date.
Checks typically arrive within 7–10 business days, depending on USPS delivery times. Electronic payments are usually received within 2 business days.

External Transfer

All external transfers are processed via ACH.
Transfers are generally completed within 2 to 3 business days.
A checking account, U.S. address, age 18 or older, and at least $1 in your account are required.
No, external transfers are only available through a desktop or laptop computer.

Mobile Deposit

The first two deposits are manually reviewed for security. Afterward, deposits under $3,000 are available instantly.
There’s no limit on the number of checks you can deposit each day, but the total amount is capped at $3,000. To increase your daily limit, you can call, chat, or visit a branch.
You can deposit checks in U.S. funds payable to you or another joint account holder.

Savvy Money

No, Savvy Money is completely free for our members.
No, checking your credit score with Savvy Money is a “soft inquiry” and will not impact your score.
Your score updates monthly and automatically in Savvy Money. You can also click “Refresh Score” as often as once a day.
The credit score of the primary account holder will be displayed.
Yes, you can use Savvy Money on both the app and the website.

Zelle

Payments through Zelle are sent using ACH.
Transfers of $500 or less are sent instantly if the recipient is enrolled with Zelle. Larger amounts may take 2–3 business days.
You must have a checking account, a U.S. address, be at least 18 years old, and maintain at least $1 in your account.
They’ll receive an email or text notifying them of your payment and instructions on how to enroll and receive the funds.
