Debit and/or credit card purchases must post and settle to the account during the monthly qualification cycle—this may take one or more business days from the date the transaction occurred. ATM-processed transactions do not qualify. The “Monthly Qualification Cycle” begins on the last day of each month.
ATM Fee Refunds
Domestic ATM fees under $5 each incurred during the monthly qualification cycle will be automatically reimbursed and credited on or about the last day of the monthly statement cycle. Receipts must be presented for reimbursement of single ATM fees of $5.00 or more. The maximum reimbursement is $20 per monthly qualification cycle.
To have any Kasasa account, a NorthCountry Share Account is also required, which has a minimum balance of $5.
Dividends will be credited on or about the last day of the monthly statement cycle. APY=Annual Percentage Yield. APYs were current as of 1/01/2020 and are subject to change. If you choose the Kasasa Saver option, your Kasasa Cash rewards (dividends and ATM refunds) will be transferred to your Kasasa Saver account on or about the first day of the next monthly statement cycle.

Kasasa Cash Back
If qualifications are met during a monthly qualification cycle:
1. You will earn 2% cash back (up to $6 total) on debit and/or credit card purchases that post and settle to your Kasasa Cash Back account during the monthly qualification cycle. 2. One Kasasa Cash Back account per SSN.
We will refund up to $30 of iTunes® and/or Amazon.com® purchases that post and settle to your account within 30 days of opening your account. Going forward, if qualifications are met during a monthly qualification cycle:

ShareDraft (Checking) Line of Credit
To avoid overdraft fees, ask about a checking line of credit. When your transaction request exceeds the funds available in your account, a loan will be generated in increments of $100 (up to your limit) to cover the amount of your purchase or withdrawal.
Do you currently have a NorthCountry checking account?
Great! Within online banking and under the ‘Additional Services’ tab, select ‘Apply for a Loan’. This will open the loan application where you can apply for a Share Draft (Checking) Line of Credit under the Personal Loans section.
If you previously ordered checks through the credit union, you can place any subsequent orders quickly and conveniently within online banking. You can also re-order checks by contacting us directly or visiting any branch.
Did you know you can set account alerts and notifications through online banking? Alerts can be sent to your preferred email address, mobile phone, or both, notifying you of a low balance, large deposit, or checks cleared. Other types of notifications can be added too, such as loan payment due date reminders, and maturity date reminders. To get started, log into online banking and select ‘Notifications’ in the upper right-hand corner.
