Pay your bills faster with free BillPay

Skip the checks, envelopes, and stamps without sacrificing control of which bills get paid and when. With BillPay, available at no cost within NorthCountry’s digital banking, you can pay any person or business within the United States in a few easy steps from your mobile phone or computer. It’s flexible too! Use it to schedule single payments like property taxes, tuition, or utility bills, or set up automatic payments for ongoing expenses like your rent or mortgage.

Does the person or business I’m paying need to be registered for BillPay to receive funds?

No. If they are located within the United States and you have their mailing address, you can use BillPay to send them funds. The system will default to electronic delivery of the funds andautomatically switch to mailing a paper check if electronic delivery isn’t possible.

Will I receive verification that the payment was received?

You will receive a confirmation number for your payments. If your payment was paid with a BillPay check, you can verify when it was cashed.

Can I expedite a payment?

Most payments can happen within a few business days, but you can fast track your payment for a fee.  

To register for BillPay, log in to your account on your computer or mobile phone. Navigate to the Bill Pay section and click on the "Enroll" or "Register" button to begin the registration process. Follow the prompts to set up your payees by entering their names, addresses, and account numbers, if required.
